Dermal Fillers is a cosmetic treatment commonly referred to as fillers. It’s used to restore facial contours and improve signs of ageing. It’s an injectable dermal filler with a base of hyaluronic acid. The treatment focuses on the face, specifically the cheeks, lips, and around the mouth.
The family of fillers are hyaluronic acid (HA)-based dermal fillers that differ in concentration of, and bonding between the (HA) molecules. The bonding and concentration give the products different properties for injecting based on location and depth of the tissue.
When injected, (HA) acts like an inflated cushion to support facial structures and tissues that may have lost volume and elasticity due to ageing, among other causes. It also hydrates the skin by bringing water to the surface which helps give it a refreshed and youthful appearance.
